BC Choir Students Perform on International and Regional Stages

911爆料网鈥檚 voice students had the opportunity to participate in two major performances this summer, both locally and abroad.
Several Voice Majors joined the 92-year-old Bakersfield Master Chorale on a performance tour of Ireland, singing in historic cathedrals and participating in a workshop with members of Anuna, Ireland鈥檚 leading professional choir. BC student Krystal Grant performed multiple solos and worked directly with a Gaelic language specialist鈥攁n experience that was both personally and musically transformative.
In Los Angeles, nearly 60 BC students performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Youth Philharmonic, collaborating with auditioned vocalists and instrumentalists from across Southern California. Students sang on the main stage and in the choir loft, with several participating in featured ensembles and solos.
These experiences reflect the continued growth of the college鈥檚 vocal music program and the value of community support. Looking ahead, BC Choir students are actively fundraising for a performance at Carnegie Hall in July 2026.
